Yes, tours of the distillery are available & are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour long. There are also tour packages available including; Tour & Lunch packages and Tour & Afternoon Tea packages which are bookable through our online system.
Yes, we have our Barrel & Bean Café onsite serving tea, coffee, breakfasts, sandwiches, desserts etc. Call 044 966 1775 for group bookings or café reservations.
Yes, we have indoor seating situated upstairs, a small number of seats are situated downstairs inside & we have a large outdoor area with seating. Please note the ground in the outdoor area is currently stone covered.
Currently we are producing Golden Irish rum, White Irish Rum & Irish Poitín. We are also producing Whiskey but it is currently maturing and not for sale onsite. All alcohols are produced, bottled and labelled on the premises.
Yes, you can buy all of the Fore Valley alcohol range onsite as well as merchandise, gift sets & other gift items.
Yes, we have free parking for all who visit the Distillery or Café. The car park will also fit a coach bus.
Yes, children are welcome on the tour and all U16’s go free. However, please be aware that Fore Distillery is a working distillery with live machinery that may be hot & produce alcoholic vapours.
The distillery is beside Fore Village which is home to Fore Abbey which you can visit for free & take a walk around the village Nancy-Nellie nature trail. There are also coffee shops & pubs in the village.
The town of Castlepollard is a 5-minute drive away where you will find Castle Varagh Hotel & restaurant, shops, cafés, pubs & the stunning Tullynally Castle & gardens where you can take a tour and visit their tearooms.
There are also many lakes in the area for fishing, swimming & water-based activities such as Lough Lene in Collinstown. Fore Distillery is also only a 25-minute drive from Mullingar town with nearby visitor attractions such as Belvedere House & Gardens.
