Bord Bia Bloom- Discover Poitín-Blog

Over the June Bank Holiday in 2024 we attended our first ever Bord Bia Bloom! We had an amazing five days showcasing Fore Valley Irish Poitín! As part of the Poitín Experience we were invited to exhibit alongside three other wonderful Poitín brands including: Mad March Hare, Micil Distillery & Blackwater Distillery. It was an incredibly important initiative supported by Bord Bia to educate people on the current status of Poitín in Ireland, it’s regeneration, versatility and ultimately the need to change an outdated narrative on the spirit!

It was particularly fantastic to meet the wonderful people from the fellow poitín brands with such great products & inspiring backgrounds! It was great to see some new and familiar brands from all over Ireland selling and exhibiting their products & services!
